The selection process for NDA II will have written test, SSB test & interview. The candidates will be chosen as per their merit at UPSC. The successful candidates in the National Defense Academy & Naval Academy post will be placed in various locations throughout all India in various Union Public Service Commission facilities.

Qualifications for UPSC National Defense Academy & Naval Academy

The candidates appearing for the post of NDA II at the Union Public Service Commission must have at least 12th. It is preferable if the candidate is experienced.

  • Army Wing of NDA: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination.
  • Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA & NA: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics.

All candidates applying for National Defense Academy & Naval Academy will need to respect the age limit of  16 to 20 years. All ages are calculated as on 2nd January 2020.

Important Information on UPSC NDA II

The application submission for National Defense Academy & Naval Academy is beginning on 7th August 2019 at the UPSC. The last date of submission of online application is 3rd September 2019 within office time. The candidates applying for the NDA II post will need to pay an examination fee of ₹ 100 within 2nd September 2019. However, for SC, ST candidates, this fee is reduced to ₹ 0. The fee will only be accepted via online payment methods (credit/debit card, netbanking, e-challan) by Union Public Service Commission.
